The Oxford Scientist

The Oxford Scientist is the revamp of Bang! Science Magazine following its 10th Anniversary! It is Oxford’s premier science magazine, with articles ranging from the latest research into spider silk to the history of Islamic science. We brings the fascinating and quirky side of science to life in this graphically gorgeous magazine.

The Oxford Scientist is distributed to Oxford's colleges and departments, and copies are also sent out to schools around the country.

OxSci prides itself on being the only student publication in Oxford providing information and advice about post-graduate study and careers in science, medicine and research.

With a print readership of 7,500 within Oxford, we are the best way to inform and advertise to Oxford University students. Also, we are constantly expanding our subscriptions across the UK.

We have two websites for you to explore. Bang! Science, bangscience.org, made the shortlist for the Guardian Student Media Awards' Best Website category in 2013. This now our archive, providing you with a shot of nostalgia. Many of our publications are also on issuu.

We have also recently launched the new website oxsci.org. Still graphically gorgeous, still wonderfully informative, here is where you can find our latest news and blogs, as well as how to get involved.

Online copies of Bang! and OxSci can be found here.
