Advertising rates for Cherwell Newspaper and our magazines
For a full overview of our rates, offers and publication dates for the 2011/2012 academic year please download our Cherwell media pack and rate card. Charities and local businesses receive a significant discount and may refer to the Cherwell local rates.
Apart from advertising in Cherwell, our famous weekly newspaper, you may also choose to advertise in OSPL's termly magazines: please download the ISIS (since 1892) rate card. The Bang! Science media pack is available upon request.
Readership
OSPL reaches a very specific and loyal demographic of Oxford University students and staff. Knowing our readership well allows us to provide high-quality news and background stories that are sought after and debated heavily within the university community.
All our publications are distributed to the undergraduate and graduate colleges of the university. The colleges take out subscriptions and distribute the publications to a readership that amounts to 15,000 in total.
Online, Cherwell.org receives 60,000 hits per week and is one of the main student websites globally. Our Cherwell publication was the first student newspaper in the United Kingdom to launch its own website and Cherwell.org continues to operate at the forefront of online media.
Booking and art work
To book online or offline advertising space, please request our booking form, fill it out and return it to advertising@ospl.org. We will happily accommodate any preference you may have in terms of the position of an advert - please let us know on the booking form. Also, note that the quality of the advert must be at least 150 ppi and that deadlines for art work stand at least one week in advance of publication (dates are indicated on the rate card).
Other requirements
